I am 3 months old today!

Today we celebrated 3 months! Daddy ended up eating the cake that mommy had baked for me..so he was sent out to go get a new cake from the store!
We put 3 candles on the cake and everyone made a wish as mommy blew out the candles on my behalf.

Story time

My grandma tells me stories everyday. She tells me stories that she told mommy and gowri pachi when they were little.
She also reads to me from the book that Gauri maushi and Rajesh uncle gifted me...its all about a beautiful princess like me

Tummy time

My dr has recommended 20 minutes of tummy time everyday.
Im ok the first 15 minutes..it isnt fun after that.

Good Morning!

Mommy loves to watch me when I wake up. If I have slept well, then I wake up smiling :)
She loves to see me stretch and shake the sleep off.

Where are you Mr Sandman???

I wish the sandman would visit and sprinkle some of his magic sand around my bassinet and bring me some much needed sleep.

I have waaaay too much trouble falling asleep. When I get really sleepy, my eyes get all heavy and droopy and I cry my little lungs out.

Anyone have any good suggestions?

Next year, we have a lot to look forward to :)

My height and weight at 10 weeks

I now weigh 9 lbs 14.5 oz and am in the 25th percentile for weight.
I am 22 inches long and in the 40th percentile for height.

Since mommy is a statistician, she cant resist explaining what the percentiles mean!So here goes...

What do the percentiles mean?
"If your child is in the 25th percentile for weight, she weighs more than 25 percent of children her age and less than the other 75 percent."


As a side note..Mommy tutors college students in the subject of Statistics.(She thought this would be a good place to advertise that!)

I had my immunization shots today

I had my first set of shots today.

Mommy didnt sleep all of last night worrying about it.
Thankfully for me, my daddy is made of stronger stuff. He was the one who held me when the mean nurse poked me.
Mommy was too chicken to stay in the room.

I have not been a happy camper...I have been sulking a bit..but other than that Im doing ok.. no fever.
