Looks like we set a record this month

..for the least number of posts!

But wait, mommy does have an excuse. Our container arrived 15 days ago, so we have been kneedeep in boxes. While mommy is happy to see all her stuff again, most of the stuff brought about a fresh wave of nostalgia.

Meanwhile its been a fun and busy month. Im having a lot of fun sorting thru the boxes.

When daddy got home from work yesterday , I rushed to him and said "Teesha boom chair dosa"

Teesha: Proper noun: (Also promounced Trisha!)
boom: noun :a free and rapid descent by the force of gravity
chair: noun: A movable single seat with a back.
Dosa:noun:a flat bread made with flours, rice, wheat or legumes, cooked like a pancake.

Now that we have broken down the sentense into its various parts of speech, let me tell you what actually happened yesterday.
I was sitting in my booster seat(strapped on to the chair at the dining table) and sreamed out "More dosa"
Mommy got up and went to the kitchen. She turned around to tell me it was almost done...saw that I was rocking the chair and screamed out "Trisha..STOP"
and it was already too late..the chair rocked some more and then fell back carrying me and crashed to the floor!!
Mommy and I spent the next 20 minutes crying and looking for bruises and washing off blood :(

Happy to report that we are both doing well now:)

A fun week!

We spent this past week with my grandparents.
Kicked off the week with a fun birthday party. My little friend Deepika turned 1 and the birthday party was awesome. I ate cake, I danced to bollywood music, I met up with my friends from Ramky Utsav..Here are some pics.





Then on the 3rd of Sept we celebrated 'Ganpati'. My mamama bought me this dress.


On the 4th, my parents celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary!

We returned home yesterday and that wasnt the end of the fun week..there was more! There was a package waiting for me at home! Mona aunty had sent me...DORA BOOKS!!!! Thank you Mona aunty!
