More on Mommys little girl

So theres a section in the book where the little girl Amy helps her mom with the laundry and with the dishes.
Today when mommy was doing the laundry I offered to help her "Just like Amy"

In the few seconds that it takes mommy to transfer from washer to dryer, I managed to grab a freshly washed towel screaming "Let me help you" ..and what did I do with said towel? I dragged it across the kitchen floor and even as mommy was screaming for me to bring it back, I took it to my room to 'clean my bed'!!!!

Of course it was retrieved and put back into the washing machine..and I get the feeling mommy isnt to happy with my version of helping...oh well I did my bit..just like Amy..cant help it if mommy didnt appreciate it!

Chocolate Do-nuts

Love is....

..sweat soaked, crumbled mini cookies!

Everyday when we wait for the school van, the teacher in charge gives us cookies. Usually as soon as we get the cookies, we gobble them up. For the last 2 days we have been getting mini cookies instead.

Today when I got down from the school van I was clutching crumbled mini cookies that had been sitting in my hand for a good 20 minutes!

As soon as I saw mommy I held out the sweat soaked bits of cookie and said "Mamma I saved this for you". Surprised, mommy asked me why..and I replied nonchalantly.."Oh..thats coz I love you"
