Happy Birthday Daddy!

I woke up bright and early- before the birds. I wanted to be the first to wish my daddy.
He was super thrilled to see all his gifts. I made him work from home since I wanted to spend his birthday with him.

Some pics from the cake cutting

And we went shopping for Daddys birthday

My daddy celebrates his birthday tomorrow. How old will he be..you ask? Im afraid thats classified information. Suffice to say he is older than what you can count on your finger AND your toes..yes of course I tried, thats how I know!

Anyway so mommy took me to MK Ahmed on the way back from school and I insisted I wanted to walk down EVERY isle before finally selecting the gifts.

So what did we end up buying??

1)A bar of soap- coz you know, daddy has a bath everyday. I bought a bar of Dettol (Of course I call it Detoil) coz I hear that is the soap he used, growing up.
2)A tube of toothpaste-Why? Coz he brushes twice a day
3)A pack of incense (agarbatti) -coz I have seen him light some everyday after he prays
4)A coretto iceream-coz everyone likes ice creams!
5)Some new kind of cookies-coz the box includes a free toy!!And come one, who does not like free stuff?!

Lets see if he likes his gifts. I sure have put a lot of thought into them. Now I need to go plan for his party-Cake, chips and juice. Oh and I wonder what he is going to give me in my goody bag!!

The one with the updates!

Thanks to someones laziness there are gaping holes in my year so far!

Thanks to mommy's friend (Vaiju aunty-take a bow) who nagged her a bit, mommy decided she needs to stop ignoring this blog.

So without further ado, lets get some updates from where we last left off (March..shame on you mommy!)

OK so April and May were fun months..summer holidays..long lazy days, spent partly in the pool. Both mommy and I burnt to crisps. And yes I did get over my fear of water and learnt to jump into the deep end of the pool. I havent learnt to swim yet..but I can kind of float which is good for now.

In other news, my ajja and mamama went to CA to spend some time with Arjun. And no they arent bringing him back with them..(I checked).

Mommy made a 2 day trip to Mangalore without me and I was just fine! So that was a huge milestone for all of us. In the past I have stayed away from mommy when I have gone for sleepovers with my grandparents. But this was the first time that I was staying home without mommy.

In June of this year I started Kindergarten-2 and I am happy to report that school is still fun and I still look forward to it everyday.

OK mommy is blanking out on the past 2 months. This really isn't the time to say "I told you so!!" but I told you so!
