Happy Birthday dear Bombay Ajja

Today my grandpa would have been 72. We had planned to go to Bombay to celebrate his birthday with him..but it was not to be.
For most of his adult life his severe diabetes stopped him from enjoying cakes and other sweets..we hope that now in the painfree/ diabetes free world that he is in, he is enjoying his birthday cake!

Learning what 'forever' means

I think we all grew up this past month. My dad lost his father on the 3rd of April. Thankfully daddy was there by my ajjas side when it happened.
Last rites, ceremonies are all done..now all that is left is a lot of memories and the assurance that he is now a star way up high in heaven looking over all of us.

Arjun filled days!

I have been MIA for a while because I have been too busy having fun with my brother. My days have been filled with love and happiness, pushing and pinching, hugs and kisses..all building a whole bunch of fond memories.
My little monkey boy leaves in 3 days and I cannot imagine what we are going to do without him.

I love you my little munchkin..come back soon.

Annual day

 

It has been 2 years since I started at Little Feat.The same child whose quivering voice would beg mommy to come back soon has metamorphosed into a little girl who didn’t bat an eyelid at the thought of dancing and singing on stage, who didn’t hesitate to introduce her fellow performers to a room full of parents, who confidently thanked the audience for coming and who proudly whispered ‘I love you’ to her teary eyed mother in the audience.

To the carnival

Yeah I woke up with swollen eyes but my spunk was intact..I still wanted to go to the carnival that mommy promised me yesterday!

So off we went to the Treamis Carnival. The train ride and the pony ride were fun.The trampoline..not so much.

And of course what carnival is complete without candy floss??!

 

The Allergy Monster is back :(

..and just when mommy thought (and even swanked about it at a party yesterday) that I was done with my allergies :(

So I got treated for balloons a while ago and all was right with my world. Yesterday I played with some balloon animals at my friends birthday party and this morning when I woke up..this is what mommy found looking back at her...




Thankfully for mommy I am not very upset about this. Infact I think its pretty funny. I keep looking at myself in the mirror and giggling :)

This morning mommy heard me singing to myself
"If you have a dog, then you must catch a frog
If you are a mouse then you must live in a house"!!!

How many babies?

T:" Why does Gargis mamma have a new baby"?
Mommy: "Because she wanted another one"
T:"Why do some people want 2 babies?"
Mommy:(Trying to get the answer as politically correct as possible and realizing that there really isnt a good answer)"They just do"
T:"Why does Sanis mamma have only 1 baby?'
Mommy:(Again at a loss of words)"Maybe she just wanted one"
T:"Yes I guess some people like Sanis mamma want only 1 baby like Sani and some people like you want 2 babies- Arjun and me"!!!
