Before I tell you about my first day at school, have you noticed how I changed the date format? The old posts were in the mm/dd format and ever since we moved to India, mommy has been using the dd/mm format...so from here on we are moving to the new date format.
Ok so moving on to the topic of this post.
Today was a HUGE milestone for both mommy and me. It was my very first day at school! It was the first time that mommy has left me with someone other than mamama or my daddy.
For the past week, in preparation for the big day, theres been a big hoopla about school. Mommy and I read "Dora goes to school"...we selected a school bag..talked about the swings and slides at school..talked about my lunch box.
Yesterday we packed my school pack and this morning I walked to school carrying said bag in one hand and holding mommy hand with the other.
School was ok till mommy had to leave..it was then, that I started crying. Mommy came back 30 minutes later to find me bawling my little lungs out..so of course she cried too (everyone knows what a wuss mommy is).
We are going back tomorrow and mommy is hoping I dont cry as much tomorrow.
